Unwashed Huacaya Alpaca Fleece #60 – Pale Peach Beige – 50g

Natural Huacaya alpaca fleece in a very light peachy beige shade. The colour is a good match for pale apricot Poodles, cream Cockapoos, light apricot Cavapoos, cream Labradoodles and similar softly coloured dogs.

The fine, soft fibres are suitable for needle felting, spinning, blending and other fibre art projects. They work particularly well for creating realistic animal coats and adding soft surface texture.

This fleece is supplied unwashed. Alpaca fibre does not contain lanolin, so it is fairly easy to clean, although the fine fibres can mat if they are rubbed or moved around too much.

How to wash

Place the fleece in tap water with a small amount of Fairy liquid. Leave it to soak without rubbing or stirring, then rinse gently. Handle as little as possible while wet, as alpaca fibre can mat easily.

As this is a natural fleece product, the colour, fibre length and texture may vary slightly between packs.
