Wet Felting Kit. Intermediate. Animal Cat Hat

An intermediate wet-felting project for making a shaped cat hat. The supplied pattern is designed for a head circumference of approximately 53–54 cm, suitable for many children aged three to five, and can be adjusted for a different size.

Experience needed

This project is not intended as a first wet-felting project. You should already understand the basic process and be comfortable working around a resist template.

You will also need

• Warm water and a bar of soap
• Bubble wrap
• Thick plastic foam or a similar material for the template
• Scissors
• An old towel
• Disposable gloves
• Net fabric
• A ball or bowl close to the required head size
• A rolling pin

The reusable equipment and template material are not included.
