Natural Wensleydale wool locks in a very pale grey shade with touches of warm beige. The fine, softly waved fibres give animal coats, hair, beards and textured fibre projects a natural finish.

These locks have been washed twice. Because the fibres are very fine, they began to mat during washing, so they have been left with a little natural lanolin remaining rather than risk losing their shape and texture. The fibres can still be gently pulled apart by hand and used in smaller sections.

They are perfectly usable as supplied, although you can give them another gentle rinse if you prefer a cleaner finish.
