Carded Felt Wool Needle Felting Carded Batt Skin Peach Nude Flesh Maori DHG Acacia

Maori wool is one of the best wools for needle felting out there. It comes as carded wool batting where fibres are already mixed, making it easier to felt. This wool has a short staple length making it great, bulky carded wool well suited for 3D needle felting projects. 

Maori is a blend of sheep wools from New Zealand.

Thickness is approx. 27 microns. This wool comes in a brilliant range of colours and is very easy to use.

Carded Maori wool can be used  as core wool and as finishing wool.

36 triangular  and 38 star felting needles ( not includeed) will work well with this wool in my opinion. 40 or 42 gauge  can be used for finer detail but are not necessary.  

This wool is MULESING FREE. The dyeing complies with Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and is done in DHG dyeing house which is GOTS 5.0 and GRS certified.

*These wools are carefully washed before carding, however grass bits cannot always be completely removed. This is perfectly acceptable for a natural product.
