After cutting into the wire, the paper wrapping, started coming away from the wire to expose rusted wire. With the wire only being £1.99, I tried to use it anyway. But it just kept snapping, & it seams that the whole wire is rusted. So had to dismantle the bit I started. It's a loss but not a big 1. Just check your wire.
