NZ & Maori Carded Felting Wool Colourchart and Sizes

Our Carded Wool for Needle Felting 🎨🐑

We’ve got two fabulous ranges of carded wool for needle felting at The Felt Box! Here’s a quick and easy guide to help you choose:

What’s the Difference? 🤔

  • Maori Wool is dyed and carded in one factory.
  • New Zealand Carded Wool is dyed and carded in another.
  • Honestly? They feel pretty similar, but you might develop a favourite!

Both Are:

  • Made from mixed sheep’s wool that’s been carded (basically, detangled and fluffed up!).
  • Super high quality, easy to felt, and perfect for all your creative projects! ✨

Why You'll Love Our Wool 💕

  • Multi-purpose: Works great as core wool and finishing wool.
  • Quick to Felt: Carded batting with mixed fibres makes felting a breeze.
  • Perfect for 3D Projects: Short fibres are ideal for sculpting and shaping.
  • Top Quality: A blend of New Zealand sheep wool, about 27 microns thick.
  • User-Friendly: So easy to work with, even for beginners! 🐑✨
  • Natural Goodness: 100% pure wool, might have a few bits of natural grass for that authentic feel.
