โจ Two Easy Felting Tips to Try This Month
๐ธ 1. Give Flower Petals a Little Help
If your felted flowers are a bit floppy, here is a clever little trick โ use hairspray!
Just a light mist will help your petals hold their shape.
-
Hold the petal how you want it to look
-
Spray lightly with hairspray (not too much!)
-
Let it dry before you touch it again
It is great for spring flowers like daffodils or tulips.
๐จ 2. Mix Colours for a Softer Look
Blending colours makes your felting look more natural and soft โ perfect for petals, animals, or skies.
Here is how to do it:
-
Pull small bits of two colours
-
Layer them, then pull apart and restack a few times
-
You will get a lovely mix that is gentle and realistic
Try blending Candyfloss and Nude for soft flowers, or Spring Grass and Paradise for leaves.
